Terms of useValid from 6.11.2026
1. Who we are
Avariilised Sõidukid is a marketplace for selling damaged vehicles and vehicles needing repair at auction. It is operated by SOBO OPERATIONS OÜ, registry code 17588888, email support@sobo.ee.
The sales contract is concluded between the seller and the buyer. We are not a party to the sales contract and do not receive the vehicle price.
2. Account
To create an account and log in, we send a code to your email. Your details must be correct.
To bid, add a payment card to your account. Card details are stored by the payment provider Stripe, not by us.
If you break these terms, we may close your account.
3. Selling a vehicle
By adding a vehicle you confirm that you have the right to sell it and that the description and photos are true. All known damage and defects must be described.
We review every vehicle before publishing and may refuse to publish it.
Packages: Basic €0, Featured €29 (paid when adding the vehicle), Full service 5% of the final price, at least €150 (invoiced, only if sold).
The seller may not bid on their own vehicle or have others do so.
4. Auction and bidding
The seller chooses the auction length: 3–14 days. The bid increment is €50. A bid in the last 2 minutes extends the auction by 2 minutes.
A bid is binding: it is your obligation to buy the vehicle at the bid price if the sale is confirmed. A bid cannot be withdrawn.
With a maximum bid, the system bids for you automatically up to the limit you set.
The vehicle is sold as it is. Inspect the vehicle before bidding, as it may have defects the seller does not know about.
5. Reserve price and the seller’s decision
If the final price is at least the seller’s reserve price, the sale is confirmed.
If the final price is below the reserve or there is no reserve, the seller decides within 48 hours whether to sell. If the seller does not answer, there is no sale.
If there is no sale, nobody pays anything.
6. Buyer fee
The buyer fee is 6% of the final price, at least €100. We charge it to the buyer’s saved card when the sale is confirmed. After the fee the buyer and the seller receive each other’s contacts.
The buyer fee is not refunded if the buyer does not complete the purchase.
7. Payment and handover
The buyer pays the vehicle price to the seller by bank transfer within 3 working days after the sale is confirmed.
The seller hands over the vehicle, keys and documents once the money is in their account.
The buyer collects the vehicle within 7 days after the sale is confirmed. The buyer pays for transport unless agreed otherwise.
The change of owner is done in the Transport Administration e-service. The buyer pays the state fee.
The buyer pays the registration fee if it has not been paid for this vehicle before. The motor vehicle tax (annual tax) is paid by whoever owned the vehicle on 1 January.
8. Contractual penalty
If the winner does not pay the vehicle price within 3 working days or withdraws from the purchase, they pay a contractual penalty of 15% of the final price, at least €200.
The penalty is charged to the buyer’s saved card and belongs to SOBO OPERATIONS OÜ. We notify about the penalty by email. The sale is cancelled and the buyer’s account may be closed.
If the seller refuses to hand over the vehicle after a confirmed sale, we may close their account.
9. Liability
We are not responsible for the condition or description of the vehicle or for agreements between the buyer and the seller. We are responsible for the marketplace working.
10. Personal data
We use your data to run auctions and to communicate with you. We share the buyer’s and seller’s contacts with the other party only after the buyer fee is paid. To delete your data, write to support@sobo.ee.
11. Disputes and changes
Estonian law applies. We resolve disputes primarily through negotiation. Consumers have the right to turn to the Consumer Disputes Committee.
We announce changes to the terms on this page. Changes do not affect auctions that have already ended.
